Kristin's graduation from Baker University

On Saturday, December 12th, we watch Kristin graduate with a masters in Elementary Education. She received a 4.0 while working full time and managing a household. We are so proud of her!! She graduated in Baldwin City, KS just ouside of Lawrence. After the graduation we all went out to eat, then the next day us girls went for a spa treatment whilt the guys took the kids swimming.

The boys went swimming as soon as they're parents would get out of bed

She's not sure why her mom did everyones makeup but hers...

Gingerbread houses...

We decided to let the kids make gingerbread houses from scratch at Grandma Carol's one day. I though that would kill an afternoon and they would enjoy it...the only problem was that I had never built a gingerbread house, let alone one from scratch...

Hmmm...the roofs wouldn't stay roofs...
Okay...attempt number two...

They decided to decorate me instead, and I've never looked so good lol...

Lil' missy decided Ben needed "help" with everything he was doing...



Okay, decorating gingerbread houses is over rated...apparently its more fun to decorate Ben...

I just love how I am constantly learning new things from the kids. Today's lesson: it doesn't matter if the roof of your house is caving in, it's love that holds a home together!!
